Shot Scope LM1 launch monitor
LM1 Launch Monitor
Shot Scope added their first ever launch monitor, The LM1, for the 2026 season.Elevate your practice sessions with the Shot Scope LM1, a compact and powerful launch monitor built to transform your game. Track advanced ball and club head speed, real-time smash factor, total and carry distance. Whether you’re on the range, indoors or out on the course, the LM1 delivers instant, actionable data through a bright 3.5″ color display. Connect the LM1 seamlessly to the free Shot Scope app for lifetime shot history and performance metrics.Whether you’re dialing in your wedges or chasing more distance off the tee, the LM1 is your secret weapon on the journey to better golf.
“In testing the new LM1 at a range, I’ve found not only are the distances accurate but there also are a few cool features that give you some value over much higher-priced launch monitors,” wrote GOLF’s Jack Hirsh. “At the lowest price in the market, Shot Scope has delivered a worthy product for any golfers who want to improve their games.”
Bushnell Tour V7 Shift
Bushnell Tour V7 Shift Laser Rangefinder
The new Tour V7 Shift delivers Bushnell Golf’s patented, Tour-trusted Slope Technology in a compact, competition-ready design. Featuring a newly engineered dual-color (red & green) OLED display with Slope First Technology, the V7 Shift provides crystal-clear yardages in any lighting condition—so you can play with total confidence. Key Features Slope-Switch TechnologyGet compensated distances for elevation changes when you want them, and easily switch to a USGA-conforming mode for tournament play. Multi-Color OLED DisplayBright red or green display settings enhance contrast and clarity based on lighting conditions. PinSeeker with Visual JOLTFeel the vibration and see the flashing red ring when you’ve locked onto the flag—eliminating doubt and increasing confidence. Yardage Range RecallInstantly pull up your last ranged distance by pressing the Mode button. LINK-Enabled TechnologyPowered through a partnership with Foresight Sports, LINK integrates your personalized launch monitor data to provide stock yardages and club recommendations directly in the display. Compact, precise, and Tour proven, the Tour V7 Shift is built for players who demand accuracy—whether grinding in competition or dialing in distances during practice rounds.
“I’ve owned four rangefinders over the years and every single one eventually annoyed me,” wrote GOLF’s David Curcurito. “What separates the Tour V7 Shift from every cheap little Amazon rangefinder that looks like a taser from the future is the immediacy. You raise it to your eye and BAM, the OLED display glows bright and crisp even in low light. The thing locks onto pins with Bushnell’s Visual Jolt technology, vibrating in your hand the second it catches the flag instead of the trees behind it. That alone probably saved me five strokes over two rounds because I spend less time hunting flags and more time pretending I know how to chip.”
Garmin Approach R10
Approach R10
GET MORE FROM YOUR GAME Approach R10 is a lightweight portable launch monitor that brings 43,000 courses to you1 — whether you’re inside your home, in the backyard or on the range. TAKE THE GAME WITH YOU TRACK MORE THAN A DOZEN GOLF METRICS VIEW YOUR SHOTS ON A DETAILED DISPERSION CHART RECORD VIDEO CLIPS OF EVERY SWING PLAY YEAR-ROUND WITH HOME TEE HERO2 UP TO 10 HOURS OF BATTERY LIFE
“The Garmin Approach R10 has been out since 2021 and was the GPS and wearable giant’s first-ever launch monitor,” wrote Hirsh. “Five years later, it’s still one of the best launch monitors at its price point.
“What I think separates the R10 from some of its competitors in the sub-$500 market is its ability to capture spin data without radar-capture golf balls. The unit itself has no data display, but all you need is a phone or iPad with the Garmin Golf app on it to take full advantage of the 14 different radar-captured metrics.”

This handy device made a big difference for Jack Hirsh during the long, cold winter in the Northeast this year — even when he ventured south to play golf in (somewhat) warmer weather.
“It’s super easy to use and heats up extraordinarily fast to the point where you could turn it on, hit a golf shot and by the time you put your hands back in, it’s already heated up,” he wrote. “The 4.0 version has new batteries that not only support USB-A and USB-C charging, but they can also charge other devices (like your phone) too. They also display the charging level on the front so you always know when you need more juice.
“I could see myself using this in plenty of other places too, such as a football game or even doing work in my garage workshop while it’s still cold out,” he continued. “But most importantly, this is going to keep my hands warm, which will make playing cold-weather golf significantly more enjoyable for me. No more cold stingers!”
JBL Grip Golf Speaker
JBL Grip 5 Speaker
Easy to grab and easy to hold, the JBL Grip is the speaker that’s always within reach. The JBL Grip is powerful for its size. JBL Grip may be compact, but its pro sound is big—punchy bass and crystal-clear highs. Whether it’s setting the vibe for mindful morning stretches or soundtracking lazy beach days, the JBL Grip is our go-to. The built-in ambient light on the back panel adapts to the moment, so you can set the mood for chill date nights and spontaneous hangs. Use the convenient side-panel control button to switch between light themes, so the mood is always right whether you’re winding down or turning up. Did we mention it’s super tough? The JBL Grip is built to handle anything. With an industry-leading IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating, it goes wherever we do. Its drop-proof design means it can survive a hard fall onto concrete—no party fouls here. All that, plus up to 14 hours of playtime with Playtime Boost. When friends roll through, we’re using Auracast™ to stereo pair two Grips for instant surround sound. Why stop there? We can connect as many JBL Auracast™-enabled speakers as we’ve got for an all-out sound experience. Solo chillin’ or vibing with the crew—the JBL Grip is as flexible as we are. Bold JBL Pro Sound with AI Sound Boost Up to 14 hrs playtime + Playtime Boost IP68 waterproof, dustproof & drop-proof Built-in ambient light with customizable themes
“It rocks,” wrote GOLF’s Josh Berhow in a review published earlier this year. “The sound quality and bass are outstanding. I almost felt bad for the other cart in our group playing music off their phone speaker.
“The JBL gets all the other stuff right too,” he continued. “It’s not huge and is easy to carry around, the battery life is phenomenal and it’s a breeze for anyone to sync up their phone via Bluetooth to take a turn with the playlist. You can use it beyond the golf course, too. With one charge, mine lasted 36 holes plus a few more hours on the boat afterward.
“As a 15 handicap, I might not be the guy to offer swing tips. But I can recommend this JBL as the best golf speaker I’ve ever had.”
