The 2026 Presidents Cup continues on Friday, September 25, with five more matches at Medinah No. 3 in Chicago. Presidents Cup Friday pairings and matchups will be unveiled Thursday evening. Once they are released, they will be reproduced at the bottom of this post. Until then, here’s what we know.
As with Day 1, Friday’s play at the Presidents Cup will feature five two-on-two team matches. But unlike the first day, foursomes will be the format on Friday. In foursomes, each team plays one ball, with teammates alternating shots and recording one score per hole.
That much we know. What we don’t know yet is which players will play in Friday’s matches, and what pairings the captains Brandt Snedeker and Geoff Ogilvy will come up with. Furthermore, with only 10 players on each team competing on Friday, four competitors in total will have to sit out.
We’ll have to wait until Thursday’s matches are over to find out. Captains will announce their selections for Friday’s Presidents Cup matches following the completion of the first session Thursday night.
