Juventus and Bologna have reached a verbal agreement for Jhon Lucumí, with the total package coming to €20m including performance-related bonuses and add-ons, according to Football Italia.
The report says Fabrizio Romano, Sport Mediaset, Sportitalia and other outlets indicated that the final details had been resolved. The clubs had held a new meeting earlier in the day to discuss the structure of the terms.
Lucumí had agreed personal terms with Juventus before the club fee was finalised and is set to earn €2.5m per season plus bonuses. Football Italia reports that the player was determined to move to Turin, helping Juventus reach an agreement for €20m.
The original asking price had been €25m, after a previous €28m release clause. Lucumí’s contract with Bologna was due to expire at the end of the season.
The Colombia international is expected to undergo medical tests over the weekend before completing the transfer.
If the remaining steps are completed, Juventus will have finalised the move for Lucumí following the agreement reached with Bologna.
