The 2025 Tour Championship, the finale of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, kicks off this week at East Lake in Atlanta. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament, including a full Tour Championship TV schedule, streaming info and complete tee times for the first and second rounds once they are released.
After a long season that began all the way back in January, we’ve reached the final PGA Tour tournament of the year (at least until the FedEx Cup Fall Series). That also means it’s the last time we’ll see all the best Tour pros tee it up in the same event until the 2025 Ryder Cup in late September.
None of those pros are better than Scottie Scheffler. The World No. 1 missed the start of the season due to a freak injury, but once he returned, he quickly took hold and started to dominate.
Scheffler has won five times heading into the Tour Championship, including last week’s BMW Championship. He’s already raked in two major titles and many millions in FedEx Cup bonus money in 2025. This week, he’ll fight for the winner’s share of the $40 million Tour Championship purse, hoping to add $10 million more to his coffers.
Check out the best shots of the week from the 2025 BMW Championship, including Akshay Bhatia’s incredible hole-in-one and Scottie Scheffler’s chip-in birdie on the 71st hole.
But Scheffler’s success so far will have no impact in the outcome this week. Unlike at last year’s Tour Championship when Scheffler started at 10 under, players will not receive starting strokes based on FedEx Cup position at East Lake this year.
Instead, Scheffler will start at even par just like the rest of the 30-player field, and it will be a four-round free-for-all for the FedEx Cup title.
That means anyone in the field — including Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose and even Akshay Bhatia in 30th place — could steal the Cup from Scheffler’s grasp with one great week. If Scheffler can triumph for the sixth time this season, he’ll win his second consecutive FedEx Cup title.
