Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly finds himself at the centre of transfer speculation despite only recently committing to his boyhood club on a new deal.

The 19-year-old has reportedly been offered to multiple Premier League clubs by Arsenal, with Manchester United and Chelsea among those contacted about a potential move.

Chelsea had previously been offered the chance to sign Lewis-Skelly, a player who notably spent time on trial at Stamford Bridge during his youth career.

Arsenal rate the teenager highly, but the club would reportedly not stand in his way if a suitable offer arrived from an interested party.

The arrival of Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United for a fee of €87.5 million has significantly complicated Lewis-Skelly’s path to regular first-team football at the Emirates Stadium.

Lewis-Skelly made just 19 starts across all competitions during Arsenal’s Premier League title-winning campaign, and his limited role has since attracted serious attention from rival clubs.

The England international was omitted from Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad due to his lack of game time during the 2025-26 season, further highlighting his difficult situation at Arsenal.

According to talkSPORT’s Alex Crook, both Manchester United and Chelsea are among a handful of Premier League sides that have been approached by Arsenal regarding his availability.

Lewis-Skelly had appeared to secure his long-term future at Arsenal by signing a new contract the year before, following his breakthrough into Mikel Arteta’s first team.

Arteta had begun using him more frequently in his preferred central midfield role towards the end of last season, moving him away from the left-back position where he first emerged.

The teenager did enough in that midfield role to earn a starting place in Arsenal’s Champions League final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, underlining his quality at the highest level.

Despite his willingness to consider a move, Arsenal are reluctant to sell Lewis-Skelly to a direct local rival or a club likely to compete with them at the top of the Premier League this season.

The situation continues to develop, with fresh contact reported between Arsenal and multiple clubs, though it remains unclear whether any formal offers will be submitted in the coming weeks.
