Michael Brennan's WITB: Full Titleist bag —including 3-wood proto — delivers again
Michael Brennan clearly plays his best golf at the end of the year as he just picked up his third PGA Tour victory and his second in the month of October.
After winning the Wyndham Championship in August, Brennan took home the Baycurrent Classic on Sunday in Japan.
At Yokohama Country Club, Brennan used the same all-Titleist setup he used for his Wyndham win in August, including the Scotty Cameron Golo 6 Tour Prototype he switched to earlier this season.
Brennan also continues to use the Titleist GTS 3W Prototype fairway wood, making it three victories for the unreleased prototype. Brennan was one of the first players to test out the prototype fairway wood, which, like the other GTS fairways, has a silver face, but only one sole weight port.
The club appears to have a larger, shallow profile similar to the GT1 fairway wood Brennan previously played. But despite the club first appearing in March, Titleist hasn’t commented on it.
