Takomo has entered the putter market, and its first models are anything but traditional.
With its Lumo B1 blade and Lumo M1 mallet, the low-cost clubmaker has opted for a unique single-bend shaft to create a center-of-gravity-balanced, low-torque design.
In keeping with the company’s other club releases, the new Lumo putters are less than $250, keeping them in an affordable space in the market.

Takomo acquired the single-bend low-torque design from Finnish putter specialist Otso Golf. Takomo bought the company in 2025, and CEO Miikka Farin joined as well.
Neither putter comes near “oversized” territory, with even the M1 mallet staying in a mid-sized profile, which should make it approachable for just about every golfer, while adding stability and alignment confidence.
Meanwhile, the B1 takes the same low-torque performance from the single-bend shaft placement and puts it in a wide-body blade shape to appeal to traditionalists.
Both putters are milled from 303 stainless steel with mid-depth grooves to give them a soft feel and consistent roll.
Both models are also offered in two finish options — satin steel and DLC black — that match the clean and understated aesthetic of Takomo’s full golf club lineup.
Takomo’s new Lumo B1 and M1 putters will be available to order on Takomo’s website starting Oct. 6.
Both putters sell for $219 in satin steel or $239 in DLC black.
The B1 and M1 are both available in 33-, 34-, and 35-inch lengths with corresponding headweights of 362g, 357g and 352g. Each model has 3˚ of loft and 70˚ lie angle.
The M1 has 14 mm of onset while the B1 has just 8 mm.
