We are officially at the halfway point of the inaugural Biltmore Championship, and one name sits alone at the top of the leaderboard: Neal Shipley. Shipley, a 25-year-old PGA Tour rookie, posted the low round of the day on Friday with a nine-under 62 to enter the weekend with the lead as he seeks his first Tour victory.
Just behind Shipley entering the weekend is another pro looking for that breakthrough first victory in Ben Kohles. The 36-year-old journey is coming off a career year on Tour that featured two top 10s and five top 25s in 2026. But still, that first victory has eluded him.
