Aston Villa are set to start the new season in the Premier League with an away game versus Brighton and Hove Albion.
Aston Villa have a turbulent summer with plenty of significant changes in the team. They lost their key men soon after the world cup was almost over. Youri Tielemans, Lucas Digne, Morgan Rogers have surprisingly departed. Ezri Konsa might follow soon, plus probably Ollie Watkins and Emilia Martinez before the deadline day.
Unai Emery’s side has been busy snatching new players too for their replacement. The likes of Johan Manzambi, Joao Gomes, Modou Cisse, Alejandro Garnacho, Matteo Ruggeri and the goalkeeper Zion Suzuki have been included in the squad for the new season.
Villa are also set to include several promising talents from the reserve team to make their Premier League debut this season. They have George Hemmings, Tristan Rowe, James Wright and their top youngster who shone in the pre season, Brian Madjo.
Unfortunately, their pre-season did not end that well with their consecutive defeats against European top teams, including Bayern Munich and FC Porto , plus in UEFA Super Cup versus PSG. Despite their fine display on the pitch, the final score does not show positive results. Thus there are still plenty of work to do, especially with the remaining players as some other figures are still injured, including two of their new signings.

The Premier League opener between Brighton and Aston Villa will be held at 8 pm on Sunday, August 23. The encounter takes place in AMEX Stadium, the home turf of The Seagulls.
