Aston Villa might field the youngster again in the final pre-season game against Gladbach tomorrow before the Premier League kicks off.
Aston Villa are set to play their final pre-season game against Borussia Mönchengladbach tomorrow before the Premier League opener. The league starts on August 23, with Unai Emery’s men travelling to Brighton.
In the upcoming pre-season match, Emery could be giving a final chance to the youngsters and players from the reserve team to impress him before making the final decision on deadline day, whether they will be kept in the first-team squad or loaned out for their development.
The likes of Brian Madjo are likely to get a nod either as a starter or off the bench in the second half following his fine form in the UEFA Super Cup. Yet, he is certainly not the only player who could be given an opportunity in the next game at Borussia Park.
Based on a report by Chris Nee in FourFourTwo, another youngster, George Hemmings, also stole the spotlight in the clash against PSG with his impressive performance.

The 19-year-old midfielder was in fine form in Salzburg, where he thrived in his new position. He was deployed out wide on the left flank instead of playing in a more central role as one of the players in the double pivot.
Last season, he did not shine when he was fielded as a number six when Villa faced RB Salzburg in the league phase of the Europa League. Emery seems to have succeeded in unlocking his potential as a winger as reported by FourFourTwo.

During the game, based on data from WhoScored, he made 40 touches and registered two shots, with one of them being on target. Hemmings also created one key pass and was dispossessed twice. He attempted two crosses, completed one long ball, and made 25 passes in total.
Apart from Madjo and Hemmings, Emery is likely to field other youngsters who will have a decisive final chance to prove themselves. The likes of James Wright, Kosta Nedeljkovic, Lamare Bogarde, and Modou Cisse will probably feature before Villa decide their futures.
The Goalkeeper James Wright might become a start after his appearance in Jakarta. Marco Bizot could be sidelined following his below-par performance on Wednesday.
Right-back Kosta Nedeljkovic, Dutch midfielder Bogarde, and Senegalese defender Modou Cisse did not feature in the UEFA Super Cup, so the Gladbach game could be their final chance to impress the Spanish boss.
