Aston Villa are set to battle against three Premier League rivals to sign the Belgium international who is currently still playing at his home soil.
Aston Villa transfer business does not stop there after securing a move of several new signings. The departure of Lucas Digne pushes to sign another left back despite the fact that they have snatched Matteo Ruggeri from Atletico Madrid. Emery does not seem to be convinced with Kosta Nedeljkovic’s form yet as Matty Cash’s competitor or deputy.
The left back with six international caps has played 97 games for Club Brugge, netting seven times and providing eight assists in all competitions. He brought his team to clinch a league title last season and Belgian Cup in 2025.
