The 2026 Wyndham Championship continues on Saturday, Aug. 8, with the third round at Sedgefield Country Club in North Carolina. You can find full Wyndham Championship tee times for Saturday’s third round at the bottom of this post.
This week’s Wyndham Championship offers a final opportunity for players to move into the coveted top 70 in the FedEx Cup points ranking, thereby cementing their status for next season as well as punching their ticket into next week’s FedEx St. Jude, the first tournament of the FedEx Cup playoff series.
For some players in the field — like Brooks Koepka, who is currently ranked 86th — it will likely take a win to gain entry. After firing opening rounds of 67-66, Koepka is T20 at seven under par. That finish is not projected to improve his standing at all.
But 23-year-old Ben James is a different story. The UVA alum is 11 under par — currently one shot shy of Beau Hossler’s 36-hole lead at 12 under par. If James can manage to notch his first PGA Tour victory, he’s projected to launch himself all the way from No. 141 to No. 62. A runner-up finish, though, would only lift him to No. 96.
Hossler, too, has a lot on the line. Currently No. 122, the 31-year-old could ascend to No. 53 with a win on Sunday.
In short: there’s plenty of drama in store at the PGA Tour’s regular season finale this weekend.
Hossler will play in the final tee time on Saturday alongside James at 1:55 p.m. ET, while Kopeka will tee off with Tyler Collet at 12 p.m. ET.
