It’s Monday, but last week’s Travelers Championship isn’t over yet. A lengthy weather delay impacted Sunday’s final round significantly. In the end, the final pairing of Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland finished off their final rounds late Sunday night tied at 21 under.
With no daylight remaining for a playoff, it was decided that the two PGA Tour stars would return Monday morning to determine the champion.
The playoff will feature a sudden-death format, with Scheffler and Hovland teeing off TPC River Highlands’ 18th hole at 9 a.m. ET. If they tie the first playoff hole, they will continue to play the 18th until someone claims the title and the $3.6 million winner’s check. The losing player will receive a hefty consolation prize of $2.16 million.
You can watch the Monday playoff at the Travelers Championship on TV via Golf Channel and NBCSN beginning at 9 a.m. ET on Monday. Peacock will provide streaming coverage starting at 9 a.m. ET.
