Newcastle United Sponsorship Deal Hands Sandro Tonali Boost Amid Arsenal, Tottenham And Manchester City Interest

Newcastle United have struck a £60million sponsorship agreement with KNOX Hydration that could significantly strengthen their position in Sandro Tonali negotiations.

The deal comes as Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City have all been linked with the Italian midfielder, making his future one of the summer’s most closely watched transfer stories.

KNOX Hydration, a South African company, already hold an existing arrangement with Newcastle’s training ground worth £6million per year across a three-year period.

The new front of shirt sponsorship is structured to pay around £10million for the upcoming 2026/27 season, followed by £25million per year across the following two campaigns.

That financial injection reduces the urgency for Newcastle to sell Tonali, whose asking price has been widely mooted at £100million.

Tottenham have already spoken to Tonali’s representatives, suggesting they are among the most advanced clubs in their interest in the midfielder.

The Magpies had already raised funds through the sale of Anthony Gordon, who joined Barcelona for £69million earlier this month after Newcastle missed out on European football.

Despite that significant outgoing, the KNOX Hydration agreement provides the club with greater flexibility in deciding whether to sanction a second high-profile departure this summer.

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has been active in the transfer window, already welcoming Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi to the club, with a deal for Brighton’s Jan Paul van Hecke also confirmed.

Brighton rejected Tottenham bids for Luka Vuskovic, with the Croatia defender’s future remaining tied closely to the developments surrounding that £52million move.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are yet to bring in any new additions but are actively pursuing Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

Bradley Barcola of Paris Saint-Germain, Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi and Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers have all been linked with moves to Arsenal as forward targets.

Manchester City’s primary midfield focus remains Elliot Anderson of Nottingham Forest, with Etihad Stadium bids already rejected by the East Midlands club.

Tonali has been identified as a potential alternative for City, who are also keeping Tottenham waiting on their intentions regarding Savinho, a target they have pursued for the past 12 months.
