Crysencio Summerville Scores Stunning First International Goal As Tottenham Target Shines For Netherlands Against Japan

Crysencio Summerville has announced himself on the World Cup stage in stunning fashion, netting a brilliant goal to restore the Netherlands’ lead against Japan.

The West Ham winger curled a superb left-footed effort into the bottom left corner to make it 2-1, scoring his first ever international goal in the process.

It was a moment of genuine quality from the 24-year-old, who has been one of the most sought-after players heading into the summer transfer window.

Virgil van Dijk had opened the scoring for the Dutch side in the 50th minute with a lovely header past the goalkeeper to give his side the lead.

Japan responded almost immediately, however, with a strike from the edge of the box from Nakamura levelling the score and silencing the Dutch fans.

Summerville then stepped up to restore the advantage, cutting inside from the right before delivering a perfectly placed finish into the bottom left corner.

Liverpool’s Ryan Gravenberch was excellent in the build-up, carving through the midfield before finding Summerville in a dangerous position on the right flank.

The goal underlined exactly why so many top clubs are currently tracking the winger, with interest coming from multiple leagues and several high-profile sides.

Tottenham, who had already attempted to sign Summerville in January, have re-entered the race this summer as Roberto De Zerbi looks to strengthen his attacking options.

Manchester United are also rumoured to be interested, while Serie A heavyweights AS Roma, Napoli, and AC Milan have all been linked with a move for the Dutchman.

West Ham’s relegation from the Premier League has placed the club under significant financial pressure, making it increasingly difficult to retain their prized asset.

A potential bidding war for the £40 million-rated winger could provide the relegated club with a crucial financial lifeline as they look to rebuild outside the top flight.
