The 2026/27 season is approaching fast for Tottenham Hotspur, and new Nike kits are set to accompany the club into a significant transitional campaign.
One of the most notable changes this season concerns the front-of-shirt sponsorship, as the red AIA logo will appear on Tottenham’s kits for the final time.
The insurance company will transition to becoming Spurs’ training wear sponsor from the 2027/28 season, with a new front-of-shirt partner set to take over for match kits.
Tottenham signed their original deal with Nike back in 2017, extending it the following year into a 15-year contract lasting until at least 2033, reportedly worth around £30 million a season.
That arrangement represents one of the longest football club deals in the sportswear giant’s history, ensuring the Nike Swoosh will sit alongside the Tottenham cockerel for years to come.
Ahead of the official launch, eagle-eyed Spurs supporter Christina Zandes spotted the new home shirt already on the rack inside the Nike store in London, recording a video and photograph of the shirt.
The home shirt is a plain white top with navy accents and subtle diagonal striping, said to be inspired by the club’s mid-1980s Hummel kits, with a layered collar matching England’s away kit for the World Cup.
The shirt features one navy stripe on each side running up the back, a thin navy cuff on each arm, and the Kraken sleeve sponsor positioned on the left shoulder.
Kit experts Footy Headlines report the home shirt is set to launch on Thursday June 25, with the away kit expected to drop on the same date.
The away kit moves decisively away from the plain black design seen this past season, built on an Obsidian navy blue base with a vibrant and chaotic pattern featuring diagonal jagged lines in neon pink, purple, and orange.
Footy Headlines published what they described as “the first official images of Tottenham’s new 26-27 away kit, featuring a bold and somewhat crazy pattern on the front,” which drew a mixed reaction from supporters online.
All Nike, Spurs, and sponsor logos on the away shirt appear in white, a detail likely to find broad approval among fans who dislike clashing branding elements.
The third kit may well attract the most attention of all, arriving in a shade officially described as “Psychic Purple,” a similar tone to shirts worn by the club in 1998/99 and 2011/12.
Dark purple pinstripes outlined in white run across the shirt, with a retro polo collar featuring a button, while the stripes blur out in the centre to accommodate the AIA logo.
A lifestyle version of the third kit is also expected, featuring a straight V-neck design inspired by the 1996 Nike Premier shirts, released to mark their 30th anniversary.
The third shirt is typically released in August, meaning Roberto De Zerbi and Martin Ho’s players in both the men’s and women’s teams will be wearing all three new strips across the coming campaign.
