Arsenal are actively exploring a potential €40 million transfer move for Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, according to reporter David Ornstein.
Ornstein, writing for The Athletic, claims the Gunners are looking seriously into a deal for the Greek international winger, who previously attracted interest from Crystal Palace.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a strong 2025/26 campaign, scoring 13 goals and adding one assist from out wide for the Belgian club.
Those numbers represent an impressive return for a wide player, and Tzolis will likely be seen as a cost-effective option given his potential and current valuation.
Crucially, Ornstein also reports that a move for Tzolis would not affect Arsenal’s separate interest in signing Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers.
Rogers has been linked with a move to the Emirates for some time, but confirmation of genuine interest from a reporter of Ornstein’s standing elevates this story significantly.
Arsenal’s need to strengthen their attacking options has become more pressing following reports that Leandro Trossard is advancing in talks to join Besiktas.
With Trossard potentially departing, Tzolis is being considered as a viable replacement on that side of Mikel Arteta’s front three, providing natural cover and competition.
Ornstein also noted that other attacking targets are being considered by Arsenal, although none of those players have been named publicly at this stage.
Arsenal won the Premier League title in 2025/26 and came agonisingly close to lifting their first Champions League trophy, making this a pivotal summer for the club.
Arteta will be looking to build on that momentum, and supporters will be hoping the club goes beyond adding depth and pursues a genuine marquee signing to elevate the squad further.
Tzolis, while talented and improving, may be viewed by many fans as a solid squad option rather than the headline arrival they are hoping for this summer.
Rogers, however, would represent a bigger statement of intent, and his potential arrival alongside Tzolis could reshape Arsenal’s attacking options considerably heading into next season.
