Serhou Guirassy Agent Denies Fenerbahce Agreement As Tottenham Transfer Hunt Gets Major Lift

Tottenham Hotspur have received a significant boost in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy after his agent dismissed reports of a pre-agreement with Fenerbahce.

Speculation had been building that the 30-year-old Guinea international was close to sealing a move to the Turkish giants, but those claims have now been firmly denied.

Karamba Guirassy, brother and agent of the Dortmund forward, spoke exclusively to Sky Sports journalist Patrick Berger to set the record straight on his client’s future.

“To clarify: no agreement of any kind has been reached,” Karamba Guirassy told Berger. “Serhou is currently evaluating his options for next season. Any claim of a verbal deal is simply not true.”

The denial throws the transfer situation wide open again, with a host of Europe’s biggest clubs now firmly back in contention for the striker’s signature.

While a departure from Borussia Dortmund this summer remains a realistic possibility, no final decision has been made about where Guirassy will play his football next season.

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi is understood to be keen on adding an elite physical presence to his attacking frontline ahead of the new campaign.

Spurs are far from alone in their admiration, with Chelsea reported to have already established contact, while Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked with the forward in recent months.

Beyond England, European heavyweights AC Milan and Atletico Madrid are also understood to hold Guirassy high on their summer shortlists, underlining the fierce competition for his services.

The interest from so many elite clubs comes as no surprise given the numbers Guirassy has produced since arriving in Germany, where he scored a breathtaking 38 goals in his debut Bundesliga season.

He backed that remarkable campaign up with another outstanding individual season, netting 22 goals across all competitions, including 17 in the Bundesliga alone.

Since joining Dortmund, the powerful striker has scored 60 goals and contributed a further 15 assists across 96 appearances in all competitions.

His combination of aerial dominance, press-resistance, and relentless movement makes him a highly attractive proposition for any club operating at the top level of European football.

With no agreement in place and Guirassy reportedly weighing all options carefully, Tottenham and their Premier League rivals will be watching developments very closely over the coming weeks.
