European Ryder Cupper Matt Fitzpatrick is one of the betting favorites at the RBC Canadian Open, coming into the week with +1200 odds-to-win.
After years of struggles on the course, Fitzpatrick has reclaimed his elite game this season, reeling off three PGA Tour wins already to push his career total to five. He’s risen to No. 4 in the Official World Golf Ranking in the process.
Fitzpatrick isn’t alone on top of the odds list. He’s joined by a fellow European Ryder Cupper who is also ranked in the top 10 of the OWGR: Tommy Fleetwood.
Trailing them in oddsmakers’ eyes are two U.S. Ryder Cup players, Sam Burns (+1400) and Collin Morikawa (+2200). Filling out the top 5 in pre-tournament betting odds are Robert MacIntyre (+2500) and Wyndham Clark (+2500).
