Tottenham And Everton Circle West Ham’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka Available For £10 Million

Tottenham Hotspur have registered interest in signing West Ham United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.

The 28-year-old is expected to leave West Ham this summer as the club looks to offload multiple players in order to balance the books.

West Ham have made clear they are prepared to listen to offers for the defender, with Tottenham and Everton both identified as interested parties.

Reports indicate Wan-Bissaka could be available for around £10 million, a figure described as a nominal asking price for a player of his quality and experience.

Tottenham already have options at right back in the form of Pedro Porro and Djed Spence, raising questions about whether another signing in that position makes genuine tactical sense.

The view from some quarters is that Tottenham would be better served investing in a quality central defender and a left back rather than adding further depth at right back.

Despite those concerns, there is little doubt that a player of Wan-Bissaka’s experience could represent a significant bargain at the reported asking price for most clubs in the league.

The defender has previously demonstrated his quality at clubs including Crystal Palace and Manchester United, building a reputation as a solid and dependable full-back over the course of his career.

For Wan-Bissaka himself, securing regular first-team football will be a priority, and sitting on the bench at a north London club would offer him little benefit heading into the later stages of his career.

Everton are also monitoring the situation, and could be viewed as a more natural fit given their need for quality in the right back department, potentially making them the frontrunners for his signature.
