Arsenal Players Cross Paths With Tottenham Rivals During Premier League Title Celebrations

Arsenal’s Premier League title celebrations stretched well into the night after the squad lifted the trophy, and the evening produced an unexpected North London moment.

Players, coaching staff and their families began the festivities at Bacchanalia, an exclusive Mayfair restaurant, shortly after the trophy presentation at Selhurst Park.

The party then moved on to some of London’s most well-known nightlife venues, including Bagatelle and Tape nightclub in the West End.

At Tape, a small piece of football rivalry folklore was reportedly written, as Arsenal players crossed paths with Tottenham players who were also out celebrating the end of the season.

Arsenal clinched the Premier League title on Sunday, May 24, beating Crystal Palace 2-1 on the final day to finish the campaign as champions after a 22-year wait.

Mikel Arteta’s side lifted the trophy at Selhurst Park following that victory, bringing an end to one of the most anticipated title wins in the club’s modern history.

The first stage of the evening was private and family-oriented, with Arteta, his coaching staff, playing staff, non-playing staff and relatives all gathering together at Bacchanalia for a sit-down dinner.

That setting made the occasion something broader than a players’ night out, reflecting a genuine club-wide celebration shared by everyone who contributed to the title-winning campaign.

From Bacchanalia, a section of the squad moved on to Bagatelle before making their way to Tape nightclub, one of the capital’s most exclusive and high-profile late-night venues.

Tottenham players had also chosen to mark the end of the season with a night out, and the two groups reportedly found themselves at the same venue at some point during the evening.

The two clubs finished the season in very different places, with Arsenal crowned champions and Tottenham having endured a considerably more difficult campaign throughout the year.

London’s elite nightlife circuit is a tight world, and professional footballers from rival clubs sharing the same spaces at the end of a long season is not entirely unusual.

Arsenal supporters will no doubt find some comedy value in the situation, given the contrasting fortunes of the two clubs during the 2024/25 Premier League season.

Arteta will now look to refocus his squad quickly, with a Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain still to come, giving Arsenal the chance to complete a historic double.
