The 2026 PGA Championship officially begins Thursday morning with the opening round at Aronimink Golf Club. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament on Thursday, including full PGA Championship TV coverage, streaming info and Round 1 tee times.
After a month of waiting, the best players in the world have gathered for the second major championship of 2026, the PGA Championship at Aronimink.
Rory McIlroy rides in still on a high from his second Masters victory in April. While McIlroy is confident in his game, he is dealing with a minor toe blister issue that limited his practice rounds this week. Still, McIlroy is one of the favorites to take home his third PGA and seventh major title this week.
But he’s not the favorite. That honor belongs to Scottie Scheffler. Still the World No. 1, Scheffler heads into the PGA with three consecutive runner-up finishes, including a solo second behind McIlroy at the Masters. Scheffler is also the defending champion this week, having captured his first PGA title last year at Quail Hollow.
But a host of other stars — such as Cameron Young, Bryson DeChambeau, Jordan Spieth, Matt Fitzpatrick and Jon Rahm — are hoping to make some major history of their own this week. And all the action gets started on Thursday.
