The 2025 Open Championship gets underway this week at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland, where golf’s biggest stars will compete for the final major championship of the year. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2025 Open Championship schedule, including online streaming details, Open Championship TV times and more.
As we head into the final major of the year, one question that needs to be answered is whether one of the game’s biggest stars will take home the Claret Jug on Sunday, or if a major-less pro will make his breakthrough.
So far in this year’s majors, we’ve had a little bit of both. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (PGA Championship) and World No. 2 Rory McIlroy (Masters) took the first two majors of the season. But it was a different story at the U.S. Open, where journeyman American pro J.J. Spaun shocked the world and captured the title.
Prior to the start of the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open, Scottie Scheffler discusses the different types of shots that links golf requires in the United Kingdom compared to golf in the United States.
While we don’t know what will happen at the Open, we do know how you can watch it unfold from home.
