All three men’s major champions from this year are in the field at the Travelers Championship this week, fighting for their share of the $20 million purse.
U.S. Open champion J.J. Spaun is hoping to keep his hot hand going in Connecticut. World No. 1 and 2025 PGA champion Scottie Scheffler will try and continue his torrid stretch of play. And World No. 2 Rory McIlroy will attempt to get out of the funk that’s haunted him since winning the Masters in April.
As the Travelers Championship approaches, experts weigh in on the formidable Scottie Scheffler, whose odds are tight at around three to one. With a strong performance expected, strategists consider pairing bets with other sports to maximize potential returns.
Spaun and Scheffler are paired together for the first two rounds at TPC River Highlands, and they’ll get Round 2 started at 10:35 a.m. ET Friday. McIlroy will tee off later on Friday at 1:45 p.m. ET.
