The 2025 PGA Championship, the second major of the year, arrives this week at Quail Hollow, and the world’s best players are among the betting favorites to win. Here is everything you need to know about the PGA Championship odds and notable favorites to start the week.
Two players have dominated betting odds at PGA Tour events this year, and they’ve topped the Official World Golf Ranking all season, too: Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy.
The World No. 1 and 2, respectively, are once again first and second in pre-tournament PGA Championship odds to start the week at Quail Hollow.
Scheffler, who captured his first 2025 win at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, is out in front as the official betting favorite for the PGA, with +400 odds-to-win.
But thanks to three big wins already this season, including a historic Masters victory, McIlroy has tightened the chase. He comes in a close second behind Scheffler with +450 odds-to-win the year’s second major.
In third is Bryson DeChambeau (+1200), who battled McIlroy in the final pairing on Masters Sunday. DeChambeau’s fellow LIV Golf pro and major champion Jon Rahm is next at +1800.
Finally, defending champion Xander Schauffele closes out the top 5 with +2000 odds-to-win to start the week.
