2025 The Sentry money: Here’s how much every player made

    During Sunday’s final round of the 2025 Sentry at Kapalua, Will Zalatoris made costly rules mistake. But not only for him.

    On the 15th hole, both Zalatoris and his playing partner Cam Davis played each other’s ball by mistake for their third shots on the par-5.

    That meant both players had to not only re-hit their third shots but take a two-shot penalty as well, which in one of the PGA Tour’s eight Signature events, proved very costly.

    “That’s gonna be expensive,” said NBC analyst Mark Rolfing.

    Oh yeah, it was Rolf.

    By the time Zalatoris had finished up, he was in a tie for 26th, which comes with a paycheck around $163k. If he had those two shots back, he would have been in a tie for 15th, which is a payday of around $283k, costing him almost half his paycheck for the week.

    Two shots for Davis would have bumped him from the tie for 13th into the top 5, costing him more than $300k.

    It just goes to show you, when millions of dollars are on the line, a simple mistake can cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars.
