(Victoria, BC - May 6, 2025)
We’re excited to kick off the 2025 Canada Games Prep Series, presented by CSI Pacific and Team BC, with the first session held on May 1st, 2025. The panel, moderated by Canadian Olympian and CSI Pacific Communications Coordinator Celina Toth, brought together an incredible group of athletes to share their experiences and insights from past Games, offering valuable lessons for our current Team BC athletes.
Panelists:
Emma Entzminger, Olympic bronze medalist and member of Canada’s Women’s National Softball Team
Joel Ewert, dual-sport athlete and member of Canada’s wheelchair rugby team for Paris 2024 Paralympics
Kristen Henry, Pan Am Games medalist and former Canada Games canoe kayak athlete, as well as a national rowing team member
During the session, panelists answered key questions and offered practical advice on topics like navigating first Games experiences, maximizing performance, and learning from the journey. Attendees were also encouraged to ask questions, making the session interactive and engaging.
This is just the beginning of the 2025 Canada Games Prep Series! Our next webinar will be on Thursday, May 29th at 7 PM, focusing on “Preparing to Compete on Arrival”—mark your calendars, and don’t miss it!
A special thank you to our incredible panelists for sharing their time and wisdom. We look forward to more valuable sessions as we continue supporting Team BC athletes in their journey to the Games.
